How To Open .VCS Files On A iCal

So if you are importing something to your iCal from another source ( regular web based mail or windows ) most of the time you get a .vcs and when you try to open it you get the error "iCal cant read this calender file" or a similar message.

What you want to do is simply rename the file by clicking it and removing .vcs and adding .ics and this way your iCal should read the file with no problem.
