Set Up Linksys Router

If you are setting up a new router and you want to know how to put it on pppoe here is how you do it .

Open browser and go to 192.168.1.1
username is BLANK
password is admin

From here it will take you to the linksys set up window
On the left look for Internet connection type and select PPPoE
Add your username and password and click Save Settings at the bottom

For DHCP set up by default the linksys is already in that mode but you might need to change the linksys IP
so from the linksys main setup page simply look for local ip and change it to something like 192.168.2.1
Save Settings and you are done ( might need to reboot modem and router for connection to work ) .
