Slow Connection?

Here are a few things you can check that might be cousing your slow speed.

First if you are using any P2P (limewire,bareshare etc) software you need to disconect from it .
check your download speed at speedtest.net .

start of by checking you connection .
power down your modem and router
make sure the modem is directly to the phone jack with out a filter.
The phone cord must be less than 15 feet for most dsl connection.
Makre sure there are no issue with your telephone line (if static you must contact the phone company to correct that issue in most cases that will be the couse of your slow speed).
optimize your browser , the fastest and easyest way to do so is by using ccleaner a free program that will clean most browsers (crome,firefox,IE).

If problem continues contact you ISP.
